Excellent experience! Shipping was incredibly fast, and everything arrived securely packaged and exactly as expected. What really stood out was the customer service—they were quick to respond, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that clearly values its customers, as I had many questions prior to purchase. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again and highly recommend them based on the outstanding service and fast delivery. Also the website maps out what each peptide does, just awesome all around

What is PEG-MGF?
PEG-MGF is a pegylated form of Mechano Growth Factor (MGF) — a splice variant of IGF-1 (IGF-1Ec) that muscle produces locally in response to mechanical stress. The PEG (polyethylene glycol) attachment is meant to protect the peptide and extend how long it lasts.
How PEG-MGF works
When muscle is loaded or damaged, it briefly splices the IGF-1 gene toward the MGF/IGF-1Ec isoform, producing an early “pulse” whose E-domain peptide is thought to activate satellite (muscle stem) cells and drive myoblast proliferation — before splicing shifts to standard IGF-1, which promotes the cells to mature and fuse. PEGylation is intended to slow the peptide’s breakdown and clearance, lengthening its functional window.
What the research shows
- MGF splice variant induced by stretch (McKoy et al., 1999). Mechanical stretch plus stimulation induced the MGF/IGF-1Ec splice variant in muscle.
- Proliferation vs differentiation (Yang & Goldspink, 2002). The MGF E-peptide drove myoblast proliferation, while mature IGF-1 drove differentiation.
- Satellite-cell activation (Hill & Goldspink, 2003). In vivo, the MGF pulse preceded and was associated with satellite-cell activation after muscle damage.
- Human progenitor cells (Kandalla et al., 2011). The MGF E-peptide activated human muscle progenitor cells and raised their fusion potential across ages.
Candour: most credible evidence is on MGF/IGF-1Ec biology in cell and animal models, and the E-peptide’s independent activity is still debated; PEG-MGF specifically has essentially no human clinical data. There is no single standardised molecular weight or CAS for PEG-MGF, since the PEG length varies. Use belongs under a physician’s guidance.

What PEG MGF
is studied for
Here’s a plain-English look at the areas researchers focus on with PEG-MGF — context to discuss with your physician, not medical advice.
Muscle-repair signalling
The MGF E-peptide is studied for activating muscle satellite (stem) cells.
Post-exercise pulse
Mimics the local IGF-1Ec pulse muscle makes after mechanical stress.
Extended half-life
PEGylation is intended to make it last longer than native MGF.
Proliferation phase
Linked to the proliferation stage of muscle-cell studies, before differentiation.
Recovery research
A focus of muscle-recovery and regeneration studies.
Frequently asked questions
What does PEG-MGF do?
MGF (Mechano Growth Factor) is a form of IGF-1 that muscle makes locally after loading or damage. Its E-domain peptide is thought to activate satellite (muscle stem) cells and drive myoblast proliferation, the first step of muscle repair.
What is the difference between MGF and PEG-MGF?
PEG-MGF is MGF with polyethylene glycol (PEG) attached. PEGylation protects the peptide from breakdown and slows its clearance, so it lasts longer than plain MGF.
Is there human evidence for PEG-MGF?
Most of the evidence is on MGF biology in cell and animal models. PEG-MGF itself has essentially no human clinical data, so it should only be used under a physician’s guidance.
How do I use PEG-MGF?
Dosing, frequency and injection site are set by the prescribing physician for each person, so we don’t give dosing advice. If you need help with the mixing math for a dose your physician has set, our free peptide reconstitution calculator works it out for any vial size.
